am particularly fond of the stories written by Margaret
Hungerford who was known as “The Duchess” and was very
popular at the end of the 19th century. Books with
dust jackets in her titles are very rare. Among my favorite
stories are THE HAUNTED CHAMBER and LADY VALWORTH'S DIAMONDS.
