 The
earliest version of this story was illustrated by Harrison
Fisher. I am theorizing that this very early reprint may have
borrowed from one of his illustrations or the original dust
jacket. At any rate, this illustration looks very like his style.
I have seen a few other cases where his signature did not appear
on the reprint dust jacket. But, at this point I am only guessing
that it might be developed from one of Harrison Fisher's
drawings.
