THE
VOLUME: Very lovely teal
blue/green boards with bright gilt decorations on front board
and spine.
Color and duotone
illustrations by A. I. Keller inside with blue flower boarder
page decorations on every page.
THIS
DUSTJACKET: A
NEW FACSIMILE copy
of the very scarce jacket with Harrison Fisher artwork, which
sold with this early reprint edition, made from a scan of an
original in very good condition, printed on one sheet of
acid-free paper by an archival inkjet printer (80 yr. inks), and
preserved in archival plastic.
THE
STORY: A quick read at 75 pages. I
found it an absorbing story, which once started, I didn't wish
to put down until I'd finished. I guess many people felt that
way because it was later made into a motion picture called
“Salomy Jane's Kiss.” Bret Harte wrote the screenplay for
that as well, and an expanded version of the story.
Dust Jackets
may be purchased for $12.00 and come with a complimentary
matching bookmark and protective cover. (Price is reduced to
$10.00 when three or more djs are ordered.) Details
